INSCOR brings cardiovascular health to RCD Espanyol fans

Last Saturday, we experienced a very special day at the RCDE Stadium fan zone, where INSCOR, through its foundation, brought cardiovascular health awareness closer to the fans of RCD Espanyol de Barcelona in a dynamic, accessible, and high-attendance environment.

Our objective was clear: to raise awareness about the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and reinforce the message that undergoing an annual cardiovascular check-up can be key to preventing diseases and detecting risks early.

Cardiovascular health awareness: CPR and preventive check-ups

Throughout the day, we set up an informational stand where attendees could learn first-hand how to act in case of a cardiac emergency. In addition, we offered blood pressure measurements, a quick and essential test as part of any cardiovascular health assessment.

This initiative helped bring key concepts closer to the public, such as the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, early detection, and the importance of acquiring basic first aid knowledge.

The response was highly positive, with strong participation from fans of all ages, confirming a growing interest in heart health and preventive medicine.

Live intervention: the importance of knowing how to act in an emergency

One of the most significant moments of the day occurred when we had to intervene in a real situation. A fan suffered a fainting episode due to low blood pressure in the vicinity of the event.

At that moment, our specialist, Dr. Guillermo Oller, acted immediately, assisting the individual until the arrival of the emergency medical services (SEM). Fortunately, the incident was resolved without consequences.

Situations like this highlight a crucial reality: in a cardiovascular emergency, every second counts, and having basic CPR knowledge can make all the difference.

A commitment to cardiovascular health beyond the clinic

From INSCOR, we would like to thank RCD Espanyol de Barcelona for their hospitality and strong commitment to promoting cardiovascular health through initiatives that create a real impact on society.

Through our foundation, we continue working to bring cardiovascular prevention, first aid training, and social awareness beyond the clinical setting, making them accessible in everyday life.

Because taking care of your heart is not only a medical matter, but a shared responsibility.
